Required Training
If you are a staff, academic, or student employee you may be required to complete various compliance and required training based on your role with the university. Registration and most training are completed online in the UC Learning Center.
Review the list of Compliance and Required training. Depending on the training course, it may be required only upon initial hire, or annually. A matrix of the training courses and frequency may be found here.
Supervisors, Managers, and Management & Senior Professionals (MSP) are required to complete two hours of Sexual Violence and Sexual Harassment Prevention training every two years. This may be completed online or in the classroom.
FERPA training is required if your position accesses any student data. You will need to complete training before access is granted by your DSA.
Ergonomic Training is required for all CX union represented staff, and is strongly recommended for all other staff.
Managing Implicit Bias Training is required for all hiring managers, search committee members, and anyone participating in the search committee process. All employees are encouraged to complete the series.
